NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY TO VOLUNTEER!

Habitat for Humanity is a volunteer-driven organization. We welcome people from all walks of life to join us as we build simple, decent, affordable homes in partnership with God and families in need...and building homes takes much more than pounding nails!

Volunteers contribute in numerous ways! Our Habitat volunteers contribute in numerous invaluable ways. Kindness, creativity, strategy, and technical skills are among the many invaluable traits volunteers bring to Habitat. By working side-by-side with the family who will live in the house, our volunteers experience for themselves the abounding joy that is born when a family is able to realize their dream of home ownership.

With no paid staff, Habitat for Humanity depends upon volunteer committees for support with projects such as Family Selection, Family Support, Public Relations, Construction Skills Training and Volunteer Services.

We invite you to become involved in the way that best suits you. Whether you are wearing a hard hat on the build site or serving with special projects and committees, the heart and energy you give will go a long distance. Get involved in any way that suits you. We are happy to work with your schedule and have you come join us as time permits for you. Some volunteers stop by for a few hours and others have daily or weekly time to share. As a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, you can choose to volunteer as little or as often as you would like. Every hour given is a tremendous help that directly or indirectly moves us toward our goal of spreading hope through God's love... and a new home.
